Rising Country music artist GERALD LEE AMES To sing National Anthem at Cheney Stadium
Tacoma, WA - June 29, 2006
Local Puyallup Records Co. recording artist Gerald Lee Ames, will be singing Francis Scott Key’s “Star Spangled Banner” at Cheney Stadium on Saturday July 1, 2006.
The Rainiers baseball team will be hosting the Fresno Grizzlies. Saturday’s promotions will feature Felix Hernandez Bobbleheads to the first 1500 fans through the gates, and “Bark in the Park”. (bring your doggie) More info at www.tacomarainiers.com
GLA has written and dedicated song “You bring me Home to Love again”, to all the military and public service personnel who risk their lives on a daily and nightly basis serving their communities. Ames relates, “Regardless of one’s political or personal views, one can only be thankful we have so many dedicated professionals willing to lay it on the line.”
